int6 The international exposition of equipment and technologies for public works, construction and materials industry INTERMAT 2012 took place in Paris from April 16th till 21st. The first time DRESSTA crawler dozers line was presented as a part of LIUGONG range products on LIUGONG stand.

The TD-40E Extra, TD-20M Extra and TD-14M Extra bulldozers were displayed.

STEEL GIANTS

STEEL GIANTS is a book richly illustrated with both historical and present-day photographs of modern Polish construction equipment (crawler dozers, wheel loaders and pipelayers).

Steel Giants In the first part of the book, the author (Mr. Marek Stankowski, Dressta Promotion Manager) describes how the product range (comprising earth-moving and construction equipment) of the HSW company in Stalowa Wola, Poland, took shape.

In the second part, the designs and applications of the machinery are characterised and explained.

Numerous photographs illustrate the applications of the equipment in Polish mines, European quarries, American power plants, tropical forests of Asia, hot sands of Arabian deserts, as well as frosty Siberia.

NEW DRESSTA SB-30M EXTRA PIPELAYER

The DRESSTA Pipelayers have been specifically designed to handle and lay pipes. These machines can perform hoisting works in standalone or team work operations.

sb30m_extra_015 The new DRESSTA SB-30M Pipelayer is the smallest in the line of pipelayers distributed by Dressta Co. Ltd. and it is a successor of previous SB-30 model. The SB-30M is equipped with the Cummins QSB 6.7 engine, which meets all Tier 3 requirements and supplies 140 kW (188 hp) net flywheel power.

This new model features 33100 kg maximum lifting capacity and its operating weight is almost 28 tons. The SB-30M Extra delivers some improvements that enhance operator comfort and provide improved operating ease.

The machine competes in 100-200 HP pipelayer market currently shared by Cat PL61 and 572R Series 2, Komatsu D85C-21 and Liebherr RL 42 B Litronic.

The 6-sided FOPS cab, used on the middle and large DRESSTA dozers, with two-post ROPS, deluxe interior, air recirculation system, air conditioner/heater and new air suspension seat, provides superior all-around visibility. Wide windows provide a good viewing for precise control of working equipment.

NEW DRESSTA TD-14M EXTRA CRAWLER DOZER

The new Dressta TD-14M Extra Crawler Dozer is a successor of previous Dressta TD-12C XP model. The new machine delivers numerous improvements that enhance operator comfort, provide improved operating ease and optimize productivity. The new TD-14M Extra is equipped with the Cummins QSB 6.7 engine, which meets all Tier 3 requirements and supplies 120 kW (160 hp) net flywheel power at 1800 rpm rated speed.

- Standard (STD)
- Long Track (LT)
- Low Ground Pressure (LGP).

The 6-sided FOPS cab, used on the middle and large DRESSTA dozers, with two-post ROPS, deluxe interior, air recirculation system, air conditioner/heater and new ergonomic air suspension seat, provides superior all-around visibility. Two wide windows provide a good blade and ripper viewing for precise control of mounted equipment.

NEW DRESSTA TD-40E EXTRA CRAWLER DOZER

Dressta has introduced the largest model in it’s line the TD-40E EXTRA crawler dozer featuring an, environmentally friendly quieter Cummins QSK19 Tier 3 engine.

td-40e_extra_004 This new model delivers excellent drawbar pull resulting from a high maximum torque. The new engine delivers 515 net horsepower at 2000 rpm. The massive cooling module is equipped with a hydraulically driven variable speed fan to handle the cooling characteristics of the new Tier 3 engine.

A number of features released with the TD-40E EXTRA includes a gear preselection system and an automatic downshift function that offer the operator a choice of various automatic operating modes, especially useful in repetitive cyclical operations.

DRESSTA AT BAUMA 2010

Germany, Munich, New Munich Trade Fair Centre

bauma-2010_01 Despite the volcano and the ban on air travel, delayed trains and traffic jams, the 29th Bauma International Trade Fair for construction machinery industry, was held customarily in Munich, Germany, from 19-25 April 2010.

Even before the fair started, Bauma had 555,000 sq. m. of space, all fully booked. Though the volcano shaded Europe and prevented visitors, the mood at the venue among the approximately 3,150 registered exhibitors from 53 countries was good by the close of the fair.
